Guigal - Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2004

Fresh, dry, apricot-scented Cotes du Rhone white that has 50% Viognier as well as a blend of 5 other grape varieties in it. Viognier is a fine grape that has its home in the Rhone region but is today also grown in the new world. The taste of this grape always reminds me of the taste of icing sugar. I could not be bothered to take a picture today so i took it off the guigal website. I would recommend this wine with fish or white meats, or with something like home-made Quiche, which is what we are having tonight!
